7th February Phil Riley
Phil started musical life at 16 when he did his first solo gig. Over the years he
has had a single out on Polydor in '76 with a band called “Kites” and Pete Townsend
of The Who signed him to his Eel Pie Publishing Company. After bouncing around a
little Phil finally got another single out on EMI with a band called “The Dots”
and a deal with Virgin Publishing in '82. He’s now enjoying playing solo stuff,(originals
and covers) and making good sounds with a little help from his friends. Go to Listings

open mic spots as long as your set has an acoustic feel
